If you didn’t watch the Clemson-FSU game Saturday night, what a train wreck for Clemson. The #3 team in the country doesn’t give up 51 points, doesn’t lose by 37. It just doesn’t.
Yet after the trip around the stadium, the rub on the rock, the run through the balloons and the general ecstasy of Death Valley which ended a couple of plays after kickoff, Clemson was manhandled.
FSU now takes the inside position to the ACC title and with a relatively soft schedule left (Miami is a potential problem and a rivalry game, as is Florida, but FSU’s still better than both) and a brilliant quarterback, the Seminoles seem likely to play for the national championship.
