The following Georgia athletic programs are in competition today:
Swimming and Diving: Last Chance Meet in Athens, all day today and Sunday. This is their final meet before the NCAAs, with the men and women hosting folks from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, FSU, Florida-Gulf Coast, Kentucky, LSU, Miami, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M;, and Western Kentucky.
Equestrian: At 10 a.m., the girls host Tennessee-Martin for senior day. As to be expected on "senior day" this is their last event of the season in Bishop, before heading to College Station to face Texas A&M; next weekend, the SEC Championships in Auburn at the end of the month, and the NCEAs in Waco, Tx in mid April.
Women's Tennis: The 7th ranked Women of Wallace head to Knoxville to start their SEC schedule, with play getting underway at noon.
Softball: The Bulldog Invitational will be going all weekend at the complex off Milledge. Play will begin today at 10 a.m., with North Dakota St hosting Radford. No. 23/24 (I guess there's two softball polls) Georgia has a doubleheader, beginning with Indiana St at 12:30 (approximately), followed by North Dakota St around 3. Radford and Indiana St square off in the nightcap, before the Lady Dawgs take on Radford twice Sunday afternoon.
Soccer: The Kicking Lady Dawgs host Clemson in an exhibition at 7 p.m., adding to the full day at the complex off Milledge.
Track and Field: The Alex Wilson Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame, is this weekend. Georgia is sending 5 athletes, competing at the last meet they have to qualify for next weekend's NCAA Indoor Championships in Arkansas.
Men's Hoops: We host Tennessee at 1:45 in Stegeman. As chuck has noted, Zippy Morocco, who was a three time letterman in football (where he was the leading receiver in two seasons) and basketball, and Georgia's first All-American in basketball and SEC MVP in 1953, will be honored at half-time. This is our second-to-last home game this season, with Thursday's showdown against Kentucky being Senior Day. This afternoon's game will be televised by your SEC Network affiliate if you can't make it down to the game.
And Baseball: Perno's Pups continue their series with UAB at Foley Field at 4. It'll be on the radio, but thankfully not televised. So the only way you can watch is to be in the stands, or on Kudzu Hill.
