Course Knowledge:
This classic course has plenty of history attached to it as the former site of the Orlando Open, when it hosted such golf legends as Sam Snead, Ben Hogan and Claude Harmon. Today, golfers are treated to the same beautiful scenery and challenges of the original course, including narrow fairways and heavily bunkered, "postage stamp" style greens. A full restaurant and banquet facility complete the ultimate golfing experience.

Built in the early 1920s, Dubsdread is Orlando's oldest municipal golf course. The course is blessed with an endearing personality and character -- gently meandering its way through one of Orlando's historic neighborhoods. It's a relatively short course, placing a premium ball placement and course management.

The par 3, 12th is one hole that stands out at 'Dubs.' -- it's 160 yards from the back tees, and the shot is mostly carry, over a water hazzard, to a narrow, sloping green with bunkers catching anything too long. This is a really fun golf course with a lot of character and charm, and players of all playing abilities can enjoy. Its modest length makes it friendly and playable for the novice, while the tight fairways and doglegs challenge the advanced and intermediate player with precise ball placement and 'shot-making' opportunities.

Dubsdread's practice facility consists of a chipping and putting green, and water driving range.
