Disney Resort courses Eagle Pines and Osprey Ridge make up what Disney calls its Bonnet Creek Golf Club. Renowned golf course architect Pete Dye designed the Eagle Pines course with low, dish-shaped fairways and vast beds of sand. The course is surrounded by serene Florida Wetlands and is very eye-pleasing. Water comes into play on 16 holes, making this course a formidable challenge. Dye created a low-profile golf course that follows the natural contours of the land. Something unique to Eagle Pines is that instead of grass rough, pine straw and sand await errant shots. As is customary with Dye designs, the challenge doesn't stop when you get to the green. The greens are very undulating and well-protected by strategically placed bunkers.
