Course Knowledge:
This golf course exemplifies the definition of what a short, tight golf course should be. Don't let the short length fool you, though, the course at the Mount Dora Golf Club will surely test your accuracy, both off the tee and with your approach shots. Off the tees, golfers must contend with out of bounds stakes, and the approach shots to the notoriously small, well-manicured, greens will present a challenge to even advanced players. The Mount Dora Golf Club is maintained well, and is one of the more enjoyable public golf courses in the Central Florida area. Eighty-five acres of old oaks, pines and palms lining the fairways provide shade on the hottest days. Demanding elevations, water holes and challenging greens present favorable conditions for men and women of all levels of golf ability.
