Course Knowledge:
Mission Inn is blessed with having two, outstanding 18-hole golf courses at its plush Resort. Built in 1926, the El Campeon course is certainly one of the oldest golf courses in all of the Central Florida area. The hilly terrain gives this traditional-style layout a tremendous amount of unique character. Several elevation changes create uneven lies and perplexing club-selection scenarios, as you attempt to judge distances to the small, unforgiving greens. The fairways are relatively narrow and water hazards come into play on almost every hole. This course is typically in magnificent playing condition, with lush fairways and true-rolling, quick greens. Mission Inn also played host to the 2001 NCAA Women's Golf National Championship.
