Course Knowledge:
Jack Nicklaus' well-known love for the British, links-style of golf can be accurately measured when you experience a round of golf at The New Course at Grand Cypress Resort. This latest addition to the resort came in 1988, when Nicklaus, himself, decided that he would honor The Royal St. Andrews Golf Club by designing a St. Andrews inspired tribute course. Some of the holes are exact replicas, right down to the pot bunkers, double-greens and bordering roadways. This is a the perfect place to experience what a game of golf would be played like in Great Britain, without going across the Atlantic Ocean. This course also features the "Digital Caddy System." Every golf cart comes equipped with a computer system that links with a satellite to provide the golfer with precise distances from the hole, bunkers around the green and other hazards.
