Course Knowledge:
The Independence course at Reunion Resort has the distinction of being the first Tom Watson designed golf course in the state of Florida. Watson's extensive love affair with British Open-style golf is apparent in the design and layout, featuring rolling fairways, plenty of white-sand bunkers and large, undulating greens.

With its five sets of tees, The Independence can be fun and challenging to players of all skill levels and abilities. All of the golf carts are equipped with the latest GPS and yardage technology, not only providing accurate distances but also the location of other groups on the course. Everything about this golf course is designed to maximize your playing experience.

No need to worry about lugging along or searching for a sand trap rake, beside each bunker hides a clever, easy to access, spring-loaded rake to keep the course in good condition and your round moving a comfortable pace.
