COCONUT CREEK, Fla. -- A Coconut Creek company has a novel gift idea for Mother's Day.

With the click of a mouse and a little more than $300, you can give a poor family in the Caribbean or Latin America 1,000 pounds of rice and beans, 20 chicks and one goat, all in the name of your mother.

"You can show your mother she raised you right," said Food for the Poor spokesman Hugh Graf.

The organization also offers gifts of school supplies, a year's worth costs $20, and even a new house for $2,600.
