BACK PAIN: Each year, 50 billion dollars is spent to treat back pain. Nine out of 10 adults will suffer from back pain at least once in their lifetime. COST: The DRX9000 is FDA cleared. Treatments are generally done three to five times a week for 20 treatments. A complete session can range from $3,500 to $6,500. Some insurance companies will cover the cost, but many do not. Dr. Crespo says right now most of his patients pay for the treatment out of pocket because it is so effective, and there are no negative side effects.
