Woman Ticketed For Putting Up Light To Slow Speeding Drivers

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. -- A Florida woman is fed up with drivers who speed through her neighborhood, so she decided to do something about it.Kali Gillespie lives in Pinellas County. She recently put up a yellow flashing light in her front yard to warn drivers to slow down.Police told her the light is illegal. When she wouldn't take it down, she got a $200 ticket."I don't consider it a traffic signal at all. When I see a light like this, it's cautionary to me," she said.Gillespie said she plans to fight the ticket in court. She claims all she wants to do is shed some light on a dangerous problem in her neighborhood.
