ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Alcoholic energy drinks are getting popular around Central Florida, but state agents are cracking down to keep the drinks away from minors.Students from Evans High School joined the state division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, Wednesday, to put warning stickers on some of the more popular brands like Sparks and Tilt. Agents are planning a statewide crackdown targeting stores by sending underage decoys to buy the drinks and arresting clerks."They look like Red Bull and other energy drinks. There could be some confusion there," said Capt. Mark Bong of the Div. of Alcoholic Beverages & Tobacco.Anheuser-Busch, the maker of Tilt, said the drinks and labels have been approved by the federal government and they are intended for adults over the age of 21. Channel 9 has not heard back from Miller Brewing Company, the makers of Sparks.
