DAVENPORT, Fla. -- A mistake at a Polk County gas station gave drivers an amazing deal on Gas Tuesday. It only cost 42 cents a gallon.

A viewer sent Eyewitness News video of a long line of cars lined up at the CITGO station on Highway 27 in Davenport. The store’s manager said they were in the process of changing the prices on the pumps when there was a malfunction.Drivers filled up with the cheap gas for about a half hour. One person got a full tank for just six dollars. The manager had no idea what was going on until a customer walked inside the store and told.The manger had to shut the gas station down for about 30 minutes to get things sorted out.
