Seattle, WA -- (Sports Network) - The Seattle Mariners said on Thursday that general manager Bill Bavasi and manager Mike Hargrove will return for the 2007 season.

The Mariners showed solid improvement following consecutive 90-plus loss seasons. With three games remaining in 2006, the M's are 76-83.

Bavasi was the vice president/general manager of the Angels for six seasons before he joined the Mariners. He began his pro baseball career with the San Diego Padres in 1974 in the operations department.

Hargrove is about to finish the second season of a three-year contract.
