Marlins Reinstate P Miller From DL; Option P Tucker To Double-A

Chicago, IL -- (Sports Network) - The Florida Marlins reinstated pitcher Justin Miller from the 15-day disabled list on Thursday.The reliever had been sidelined since July 5 with right elbow inflammation. Miller is 2-2 with a 4.58 earned run average in 39 games this season. To make room on the roster, the club optioned pitcher Ryan Tucker to Double-A Carolina, where the 21-year-old he will work on his breaking pitches, along with commanding his fastball. Tucker went 2-3 and posted a bloated 8.39 ERA in 10 games (six starts) for the Fish.
