Toronto, ON -- (Sports Network) - Toronto Raptors center Rasho Nesterovic has exercised his player option for the 2008-09 season, the team announced Friday.

Per team policy, financial terms were not disclosed.

The 7-foot Slovenian will be entering his 11th NBA season. He averaged 7.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in 71 contests this season, starting 39 times and seeing 20.9 minutes of floor action per contest.

Nesterovic appeared in all five of the Raptors playoff contests this season, starting two in a first round 4-1 series loss to the Orlando Magic. He averaged 4.6 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.

For his career, Nesterovic has averaged seven points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocked shots per game with the Timberwolves, Spurs and Raptors.
