Nuggets Bring Back Howard

Friday, October 3, 2008

(Sports Network) - The Denver Nuggets signed veteran forward Juwan Howard to their training camp roster on Friday.

Howard had the least productive campaign of his 14-year career last season with Dallas as he averaged just 1.1 points and 1.6 rebounds per game while averaging just a bit over seven minutes in 50 contests.

The 35-year-old Michigan product is joining the Nuggets for the second time in his career, having also played for the franchise from 2002-03.

In 1,001 career regular-season games, Howard has averaged 15.3 points and 6.8 rebounds. In addition to Dallas and Denver, he has also donned uniforms for Washington, Orlando and Houston.
