ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Orange County deputies were on the scene, Monday, of what they called a pot-growing operation. Some 90 plants were found in the back room of a home on Sunshine Street in the Pine Hills area.Deputies said they found more than $200,000 worth of marijuana growing inside a new addition behind the house. Inside were high-powered lamps, fans and a system to automatically water the plants.Deputies found the grow-room thanks to the owner's ex-wife. She apparently had moved out of the house, but moved back in Sunday night when she legally gained control of the home. The woman heard noise and saw light coming from the back room and called authorities. That's how investigators found the pot.The former owner of the home, the woman's ex-husband, 35-year-old Charles Clayton, is charged with cultivating marijuana. He was already in jail on domestic violence charges.
