Cops Armed With Dish Towel Remove Alligator From Neighborhood

Posted: 1:30 pm EDT March 16, 2007

A tiny alligator made a big disturbance in Ocoee. The little guy was ultimately moved to an Orange County lake.

The gator's trouble started late Thursday night, when he wandered into the driveway of an Ocoee home and got comfortable next to a car's wheel.

Neighbors didn't want to move it themselves, so they called 911.

Two Ocoee police officers, armed with a dish towel, came to the rescue. They wrapped him up, took him to a nearby lake and set him free.
