ORLANDO, Fla. -- A man who tried to rob an Orlando bar is on the run. Orlando police are investigating a shootout that happened at Studz bar on Mills Avenue on Sunday night.

Officers said a man dressed in black entered the bar when an employee went to empty the trash. They said a bartender then opened fire on the suspect.

"The suspect fled the scene, possibly into a vehicle. We have searched the area and have not located anybody at this time," an investigator said.

The bartender was wounded during the gun battle and was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.
