Man Accused Of Fatally Shooting, Stabbing Mother

OCALA, Fla. -- An Ocala man is in the Marion County jail, accused of shooting his mother in the head.Rickie Cheuvront, 29, faces murder charges. Police said he also stabbed his mother.Officers found 51-year-old Carolyn Cheuvront's body Monday afternoon inside her home on 17th Avenue in Ocala.Investigators have not released a motive for the murder.
