Man Accused Of Fatally Shooting, Stabbing Mother

OCALA, Fla. -- An Ocala man is in the Marion County jail, accused of shooting his mother in the head.

Rickie Cheuvront, 29, faces murder charges. Police said he also stabbed his mother.

Officers found 51-year-old Carolyn Cheuvront's body Monday afternoon inside her home on 17th Avenue in Ocala.

Investigators have not released a motive for the murder.
