Samurai Sword Murderer Pleads Guilty, Gets Sentenced

A man who killed his girlfriend with a samurai sword pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, Friday.

Christopher Dunsmoor pled guilty to killing his girlfriend, Fawn Trivette, in her Orange County home with a samurai sword in July 2005 because she hurt his feelings.

Dunsmoor's parents notified police after he confessed to friends of the murder.

A judge sentenced Dunsmoor to 40 years in prison.
