Nearly 100 Gather For Duckett Vigil In Leesburg

LEESBURG, Fla. -- Nearly 100 people gathered in front of Leesburg City Hall for a candlelight vigil for Trenton Duckett.Dressed in shirts with the missing boy's picture, they sang songs and had a moment of silence at 9:19pm. That's the time Trenton's mother reported him missing from their home in Leesburg one year ago.

Trenton's father said he wishes the police agencies would stop fighting over theories and focus on one thing."Everything in the case points to Melinda, so I think if everyone turns the focus to that instead of focusing on this person did that, I think a lot more would get done," Josh Duckett, Trenton's father said.Trenton's mother, Melinda Duckett, took her own life less than two weeks after he disappeared.
