SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. -- Seminole County deputies found two Nigerian nationals with hundreds of forged driver's licenses, credit cards, and even library cards. Deputies believe Olushola Omotosho and Clement Odili were running an intricate identity theft ring."These guys had a sophisticated system going where they would steal identifications of law abiding citizens and make up fraudulent ID's," said Lt. Dennis Lemma with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.Investigators said the men tried to open a bank account with a fake ID at a Fairwinds Credit Union on State Road 46 in Sanford. But the bank teller didn't fall for it.When the men tried to run, deputies caught them a few blocks away. Inside their car, investigators found hundreds of fraudulent driver's licenses, bank cards, checks, library cards, even counterfeit money."When the deputy stopped their car, the passenger actually had one of the fraudulent ID's in his hand," said Lt. Lemma.Investigators don't know where the men stole the information. They said they could have got it by going through dumpsters. But, investigators will also look closely at the "Leno and Leno" towing business, which Omotosho owns.So far, one Orlando man has been identified as a victim, but investigators said it's likely that hundreds of other victims are out there.Besides the hundreds of fraudulent identifications already discovered, investigators said they still have a confiscated computer and several computer cases filled with cards to look through.
