Student Expelled For MySpace Pictures

Tuesday, October 2, 2007 – updated: 4:02 pm EDT October 2, 2007

School leaders expelled a Florida student for a posting on his MySpace page.

The principal of Eagle View Academy in Jacksonville said pictures on the senior's Web site were inappropriate and against school rules.

The pictures showed the teen holding an empty bottle of alcohol and some shot glasses.

School officials said they're sticking to a zero tolerance policy, and will not allow the student to re-enroll until next year.

The student said he was just having fun.
