Cyberstalker Gets 110 Years In Prison For Terrorizing Girls

Friday, November 30, 2007 – updated: 6:02 pm EST November 30, 2007

A computer hacker, who blackmailed children into taking pornographic pictures, was sentenced to 110 years in prison Friday. The FBI says Ivory Dickerson victimized more than 100 girls in Central Florida and all over the country.

Federal Judge Anne Conway had harsh words for Dickerson to go along with her very harsh sentence. It was justice for the victims and their families who say the hacker made their lives a living hell.

In a courtroom at the Orlando federal courthouse Friday, a judge heard how Dickerson terrorized young girls and their families. The cyberstalking hacker found them on MySpace.com and then told them he knew who they were, where they lived and threatened them into posting nude photos of themselves online.

"Parents are out working and their kids are at school or doing other things. People were worried sick," said Nick Savage, FBI sex crimes investigator.

"I had no idea who he was, where he lived, what he looked like, but he knew everything about me. He knew my family, my face and it just scared me a lot," one victim told the judge.

"It was hell not knowing if your daughter would return once she left the house," the father of a victim said.

Federal investigators still don't know exactly how many children were pressured into making porn by Dickerson.

"Literally, all of Central Florida, and there are kids all over the country that were affected by this. We even identified children in other countries, as well. So, this was big," Savage said.

Dickerson took the fear factor to the extreme. He took over their instant messaging. He sent messages like, "Are you sure you want to drive to school tomorrow?" He threatened to make one victim "the most well known girl at school" and told another if she didn't do what he said he would "hurt her sister."

"I haven't seen a crime in 16 years on the bench quite as horrible as this one," Judge Conway said, adding she was amazed his family still supports him.

The child porn scheme was not a one-man operation. The FBI's Innocent Images task force is still working on the case and is still looking for more victims.
