Board Expected To Vote On Approval Of Location For New Performing Arts Center

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The multi-million dollar land deal for downtown Orlando's performing arts center is expected to become official Thursday.Last week, church members of the First United Methodist Church accepted the $28 million offer for land it owns at South Street and Magnolia Avenue.Thursday the Performing Arts Center board of trustees will officially vote to approve the deal. Crews are scheduled to complete the new center by 2012.
