SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. -- Police arrested Kerri Horton, 39, for robbing a Washington Mutual bank over the weekend. Before she got any cash, she handed the teller a strange note."She has a bomb strapped to her. We have her children hostage. If you don't give her $100,000, we're going to detonate the bomb and we'll kill the children," said Sgt. Herb Stewartson of the Longwood Police Department.Investigators said Horton made up the story and smeared eyeliner across her eyes so that she would appear distressed. It turns out, no one was in danger. Detectives said they found most of the money at her Altamonte Springs home.Investigators said Horton told them she needed the cash to pay off a drug dealer, but her boyfriend told investigators Horton told him she got the money in an insurance settlement.
