EDGEWATER, Fla. -- The shark bite capital of the world has claimed its first victim this year.Authorities in Volusia County said a 25-year-old surfer was nipped on his left foot Friday as he dangled his feet into the water in Edgewater. He was bandaged up and drove himself to the hospital.Volusia County has been named the shark bite capital of the world for at least six years.
