Topless Protestor Suing City Of Daytona Beach

Posted: 4:03 pm EST February 29, 2008Updated: 5:17 pm EST February 29, 2008

A woman arrested for protesting while topless in Daytona Beach is now suing the city and ready to protest again.

Elizabeth Book filed the suit Friday seeking damages from her two previous arrests. Her charges for topless protesting were dropped, because a court agreed the act is legal.

Book also wants the city to strike two amendments to the city's nudity ordinance. Her next 'top free' protest is scheduled for March 8.
