According to police, one of the suspects told them that they robbed the tourist because they needed money to fill their gas tank. Fortunately for police, the suspects ran out fo gas before they could make it to the gas station. The four people who were in the dark colored SUV might have gotten away with armed robbery of a Korean tourist had they not ran out of gas less than a quarter-mile from the crime scene. Orlando police said they saw a vehicle that matched the description of the suspect's SUV on the side of Kirkman Road. The SUV was last seen near the Days Inn on International Drive where a man was robbed at gunpoint. According to investigators, the suspects tried to toss everything they had stolen from the Korean tourist out the window, including the gun they used in the incident. Those items were taken as evidence and the two male suspects were taken to Orange County jail. Investigators were still talking to the two female suspects to see if they, too, will be charged.
