Autopsy Rules Toddler's Death Homicide, Not Self-Inflicted

OCOEE, Fla. -- An autopsy released late Wednesday afternoon ruled the death of a 22-month-old boy as a homicide.

The medical examiner's report says Tyler Rodgers was shot by someone else in Ocoee two weekends ago. His father, Dontavious Rodgers, is charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child. He bonded out of jail Wednesday morning.Rodgers gave conflicting stories to police, first saying the toddler shot himself and later saying he tried to take the gun from his son and it went off.
