Marines Return Home After Tour In Iraq

Saturday, March 22, 2008

Marine reservists were reunited with their families in time for Easter Saturday as they came home from a tour in Iraq.

A group of 48 members of Company A, 6th Motor Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group arrived at the Armed Forces Reserve Center on a bus from Camp LaJeune around 1pm.

They were greeted by eager family members who last saw their loved ones 7 months ago when the reservists were deployed to Camp Taqaddum in Iraq, where they provided transportation support for the troops.

Two of the returning Marines were introduced to their babies who were born while they were in Iraq.
