MARION COUNTY, Fla. -- A man was arrested after allegedly throwing an eight-month-old baby on the floor. Marion County sheriff's deputies charged 27-year-old Joel Jones with child abuse.

When Jones' girlfriend went to call 911 during an argument, investigators said he picked up the baby by his arm, went into the house and threw him on the floor.

The mother refused medical attention for her child.
