DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Defense attorneys for one of nine men arrested in a bathroom sex sting at a Sears store in Daytona Beach called Police Chief Mike Chitwood as one of their witnesses.

In an attempt to get sex charges thrown out against former city commissioner Mike Shallow, his attorneys grilled Chitwood on Tuesday about case information he gave the media that what they call inconsistent information.Chitwood has repeatedly said he wasn't involved in the sting and got his information from the officers who were.Testimony is scheduled to resume next week.
