Anna-Maria Hazelton and Marisol Perez claim Officer Fernando Trinidad used excessive force and filed a false police report against them. They were arrested at a Mother's Day party last year.

The two now plan to file a civil suit against the city.

Officer Trinidad is accused of pushing a woman down the stairs at an Orlando nightclub. Trinidad's attorney says people are just trying to cash in.

"It just makes it easier to jump out and say, 'I want to jump on the bandwagon and go after this officer, too.' The time is ripe," said attorney David Bigney.

Perez and Halzelton were arrested, but the charges were dropped.
