ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- A serial bank robber suspected in at least seven different robberies around Central Florida was finally in custody Tuesday.

Detectives say Ray Winston Frierson confessed he was on his way to rob a bank in Brevard County when they arrested him outside an Econo Lodge.

Warrants for Frierson's arrest had already been issued in Osceola and Orange counties.

Officials credit the combined efforts of several agencies in making the arrest.
