ORLANDO, Fla. -- Homer Simpson is officially on the staff at Universal Studios.

The grand opening ceremony for the new Simpson's ride is scheduled for Thursday morning. The motion-simulator takes passengers thru the fictional "Krustyland" theme park from the animated TV series.

The new ride has actually been running for more than a week. It replaced the old Back To The Future ride.
