GROVELAND, Fla. -- Residents in a quiet Lake County neighborhood say messages of hate were spray painted on homes in their community. Two houses in the Hidden Lakes estates in Groveland were tagged with graffiti.A garage door was spray painted with the words "brown pride" while a profane comment about white people was spray painted on a driveway.Groveland police investigators said they're treating the acts as hate crimes."It might not be today, but it will come back to them and I'm hoping the Groveland Police Department steps up and finds out who it is," said Linda Lukovics, the victim's daughter.Residents say in the past few months there have been several home burglaries and car break-ins. The homeowners association is planning a neighborhood watch and it wants more police patrols.
