One Dead, Another Critical, After Rollover Accident In Brevard

A Rockledge woman was killed Friday night when the SUV she was driving overturned several times on U.S. 1 near Rockledge Drive.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 42 year old Tina Hunter-Kavchak was driving north on U. S. 1 around 11:30pm when she traveled into the grass median and struck a concrete culvert.

Her Chevy Blazer rolled over and came to rest in the southbound lanes and Hunter-Kavchak was ejected.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger in the vehicle, 30 year old Christopher Brown of Melbourne, was airlifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
