COCOA, Fla. -- Tips from residents helped the Florida Highway Patrol find a vehicle they suspect was involved in a hit and run crash that killed a Brevard County woman.

Tammi Taborn, 45, of Cocoa was found on the side of South Tropical Trail near her car early Sunday morning.

Family members said Taborn suffered from schizophrenia and drove several miles from her home to take a walk.

Investigators hope to gather evidence from the seized vehicle.
