Prosecutors To Ask That Pearlman Start Paying Restitution Immediately

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Federal prosecutors plan to ask a judge to start making convicted conman Lou Pearlman pay back hundreds of millions of dollars in restitution immediately.Court papers show prosecutors want Pearlman to pay $297 million in losses. They also want him to pay interest accrued from January 1989 through December 2006 which totals $127 million.A hearing is scheduled for Wednesday. Pearlman pleaded guilty to fraud and was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison.
