Polk County Limiting Speed, Idling To Conserve Fuel

POLK COUNTY, Fla. -- Polk County is taking major steps to conserve fuel because of rising costs.Employees driving county vehicles won't be allowed to go faster than 55 miles per hour unless responding to an emergency. They're also banned from idling.The county will soon offer employees a fuel efficiency training program.
