ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Three men wanted in a shooting at the Lake Jasmine Apartments (see map) in Orange County are still on the loose.

Deputies say five shots rang out around 2:00 Friday morning. One man was hit.

"He'd been shot at least three times, once in the back a couple times in the chest area," said Rick Luckey of the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

The victim, who was not immediately indentified, is expected to survive.

"We believe the motive for this is robbery because supposedly the suspects demanded money from the victim," said Luckey.

Deputies have just a few clues to use in their search for the shooters.

"We recovered gun at scene," said Luckey. "We don't know it it's the suspects weapon (that) he dropped or if victim had a gun himself."

The three shooters drove off in a gray Cadillac toward the Holden Heights area near Orange Blossom Trail.
