Homeowner Catches Burglar In The Act, Chases Him Down

DUNNELLON, Fla. -- A homeowner caught a Marion County burglar red handed and chased him down.

Police arrested George Rossi on Thursday after he allegedly broke into a home on Southwest Cardinal Avenue in Dunnellon (see map).

The homeowner called police after he walked into his house and said he found Rossi trying to steal his guns and a bag of change. Rossi took off, but the homeowner chased him and held him until police arrived.

Rossi faces several charges, including armed burglary.
