Sanford Police Department Exchanges Gifts For Guns

The Sanford Police Department offered gift cards for guns, Friday. Anyone who turns in a gun was given a $50.00 gift card to either Wal-Mart or Target and no questions asked.

The "Gun Amnesty Program" was at the Police Community Service Center from 9:00am to 1:00pm and then from 4:00pm to 7:00 pm.
