Crist's Office Looking Into Brevard Property Appraiser Case

The Governor's office is now reviewing the investigation into Brevard County's property appraiser.

Jim Ford and his chief deputy are fighting allegations that they lowered property values for friends and political supporters. Ford's former chief deputy, Lance Larsen has already been charged with official misconduct and grand theft.

The legal staff for Governor Charlie Crist is reviewing the report by state investigators to determine whether Crist's office should get involved.
