Man Armed With Squeegee Threatens Drivers On Busy Street

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- A man with a squeegee was standing in the middle of Orange Blossom Trail threatening drivers in their cars, late Tuesday night.When deputies arrived the man resisted and police said they had to shoot him with a taser. The man then got up and ran away.When the deputy tried to catch him, they ended up struggling in the middle of the busy street."Trucks almost ran them over during the fight. The man was able to squirm away and run back across Orange Blossom Trail where the deputy tackled him and a Good Samaritan stopped and helped the deputy get this man handcuffed," said Commander Spike Hopkins of the Orange County Sherriff's Office.The man was hospitalized and deputies said he will at least be charged with assault on an officer and resisting arrest.
