16-Year-Old Victim Dragged By Own Truck During Carjacking

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- A 16-year-old boy was dragged by his own pickup truck in Daytona Beach after he was carjacked Tuesday.

Police said a man and woman told him they were interested in buying his 2004 GMC truck and wanted to take it for a test drive. But when they stopped at Kemp and South Grandview, the teen got out, the man pushed him away and started to drive off.

The boy grabbed the tailgate but let go after being dragged for a short distance.
