Once-Indicted Pharmacists Suing City Of Orlando, MBI Agent

Friday, October 10, 2008

The Orlando pharmacists indicted for selling steroids to celebrities and athletes are now suing the city of Orlando and an agent with the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation.

The Signature Pharmacy owners say Agent Alex Wright wrongly arrested them and illegally searched their business. They blame the missteps of the investigation on the city of Orlando.

The case against Signature Pharmacy was thrown out last month. The plaintiffs say the investigation led to emotional and physical damage, as well as financial losses.
